Just takes a warm day or two
|

Well It looks like we are finally going to get some flowers in Wisconsin. The last two days have been unseasonably warm in the 80's and the flowers are responding...I sure love this time of the year.
# 5 are flowers in the grass very small and I don't know what they are. Any ideas?

Sunday and it's time to thank the Lord.
Clouds often overshadow
The brighter things in life.
Do we look beyond the clouds,
For the light beyond the gray?
Trials come and go
From day to day,
Sometimes they overwhelm
At times it seems there is no end.
All too often we refuse to see
Tiny slits of bright blue sky,
Work their way around the clouds
And slowly wash the gray
Within our life away.
Blessings to be thankful for
Within our daily life
Shine brightly through
If only we allow.
Peace and joy can fill our hearts
In this journey we are on,
When we willingly see
God places blessings
Within the clouds of life.

Ok Ok This is my first attempt at Painting and it's fun. I will never be a artist. But what am I suppose to do with all my free time.... One painting down and ? to go....
Of course the first two are photo's and next two are my interpretation of them...

AURORA BOREALIS (NORTHERN LIGHTS)

A little different today. I took these when we were in Alaska on Vacation. We got up very early in the morning. They have what they call a Northern Lights wake up call. If the northen lights come out they ring your room, and you and half the hotel get up and go an watch the show. I didn't have a tripod along so I just leaned against a post and you can see the time exposure and being on the cold side there was movement of the camera. They call that shivering.....  Yesterday I said I spent time with my Grandpa fishing on little Cedar Lake. Well most of that time it was after dark, he liked to go bullhead fishing and so many times a summer I would see Northern Lights as we were out in the boat fishing.

This lake is about 10 minutes from home. By the way you pronounce Oconomowoc as (Oh-con-no-mow-walk) just in case you were interested.

The photo's were taken from a sunset cruise or as it's called a booze cruise.
You can just watch the sun set. last shot is back at Waikiki beach. Boy it would be great to be in a warm place now I need some heat.....You can see the storm clouds moving in. Or is it just too much booze?

Sunset with star Filter

Before I start my sunset photo's here are two photo's that came Easter Sunday of my Grandkids. The 2 nd. one came from Georgia, that Rachel. The 1st. one came from Minnesota, The oldest is Matthew, then Katie, of course Nathan and last but maybe not the last one is Lauren. It's great having e-mails come and one can enjoy you grandkids even if they are far away..
The 3rd is the start of my week of sunset, this one was shot with my 35mm Nikon N80 as a slide, with a star filter. From my Back yard.

When The Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the Mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.
